How We Evaluate Products
Our product evaluations are guided by one main question:
Does this product actually solve a problem for the reader?
We do not simply choose products because they are famous, expensive, popular, or heavily marketed. A product might have impressive specifications on paper but fail to deliver value for a typical user. Another product might be less known but offer a much better combination of features, performance, and price for a specific situation.
When we recommend a product, it is because we believe it provides a useful combination of features, performance, price, reliability, or overall value for a particular use case. We try to explain why we think a product is a good fit so readers can judge for themselves.
Our evaluations are based primarily on the information we gather during research: manufacturer specifications, independent test results where available, and patterns we observe in customer experiences. We do not have a scoring formula or a rigid point system. Each product is evaluated in context.
